Speaker Bio
Meetali Desai is the Director of Pharmacy Business Services at UMass Memorial Medical Center. In that role, she oversees all aspects of the 340B program including developing strategy for program growth and spearheading initiatives for maximization of drug cost savings. In addition, she provides leadership to the Prior Authorization team that supports the Infusion Center and several other specialty clinics to ensure adequate reimbursement on high-cost medications. She provides oversight of the pharmacy contracting and supply chain, pharmacy billing, and finance teams that assist in ensuring pharmacy billing compliance, adequate drug charging, and reimbursement by monitoring drug spending, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
