Speaker Bio
Dr. Tayiana Reed, PharmD, MS, AAHIVP, ACE, RPh, serves as the Chief of the AIDS Drug Assistance Program for the District of Columbia’s Department of Health. She is a licensed pharmacist certified with the American Academy of HIV Medicine, chair of D.C. Health’s HIV AIDS Drug Advisory Committee Pharmacy, and a member of the D.C. Medicaid Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee. She has more than 14 years of experience with community, ambulatory care, and hospital pharmacy. She also recently has served as the Supervisory Pharmacist for the D.C. Department of Health’s Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Administration. Her mission is to provide cost-effective, clinically proficient drug information and support services to maximize District residents’ access to life-saving medications.
